Exmouth Town Under-15s powered to their eighth win of the league season with a slick all-round display as they saw off visiting Crediton Youth 5-2.

Harvey Russell struck twice to put Town in charge before the visitors halved the deficit. A superb overhead kick executed by Josh Price put Town 3-1 up by half-time. After the break Pete Griffin extended the lead with a clinical finish before the Mid Devon side scored their second.

Griffin rounded things off with a splendid 35-yard lobbed finish that sailed over the keeper and into the net. Both Town full backs, Sam Odel and Brett Milson excelled for their side whilst Arron Holwel was a star throughout in the winners midfield.

Town boss Jeff Evans said: “It was a brilliant team performance. All the lads put a shift in for the cause and, at times, we played some terrific football.”
