Exmouth Town Reserves are facing a congested last two months of the season for, with the next Saturday match day in the Macron League being the second Saturday in March, the Town second string have only completed half their Premier Division programme.

Town, who are currently 10 points clear of the bottom three ands also 10 points shy of the fifth placed team, have 15 games remaining, seven at Southern Road and eight on the road.

This Saturday (March 10) Town are at home to seventh placed Witheridge and that is followed by a run of three matches against top six sides.

They visit sixth placed Upottery on March 17, host table-topping and all-conquering Elmore in midweek floodlit game and then travel to fifth placed Okehampton Argyle on March 24. They have an Easter Saturday (March 31) home game against 13th placed Feniton and that is followed by an Easter Monday (April 2) visit to basement dwellers Topsham Town.

From this coming Saturday (March 10), there are just nine Saturday’s left until, and including, the first Saturday in May (May 5). Indeed, as things stand, the Town second team will reach the start of April still with 10 games to pack into the closing five weeks of the campaign.
