Stoke Gabriel’s narrow 2-1 victory at Crediton United on Monday night means Exmouth Town cannot now be crowned Eastern Division champions on Wednesday night when they host Budleigh Salterton (7.30pm) at Southern Road.

The South Devon side can still reach a maximum of 68 points which is the total Town will arrive at with victory against the Robins.

They have a far superior goal difference than Stoke Gabriel, so would be champions in all but name.

The title will be confirmed with four points fro the Wednesday night’s game and Saturday’s trip to Exeter Civil Service.
