Exmouth Town Disability Football Club played their first ever competitive matches on Sunday in the Devon Ability Counts League at Stover School.

The team played three matches and won the lot!

They saw off Tavistock Specials 3-1 and Barnstaple Bombers 4-1 whilst their other success was a terrific 7-0 triumph over Special Olympics Plymouth.

The next round of matches will be held on Sunday, March 8.

The Ability Counts league is for players with a disability who want to play football. The league has men’s and ladies’ football matches, and caters for all levels of ability. Fixtures are held approximately once every six weeks during the season, with teams from across Devon playing several matches during the day at each event.
