EXMOUTH Amateurs Under-14 Girls met Brixham for the second time in a fortnight and this meeting, in the League Cup, ended in a resounding 14-1 win for the Ammies. Ghiglia fired Ammies ahead, but Brixham levelled shortly after before a Rawlings free-kick was tucked away by Worsley.

A blistering shot from Rawlings extended the lead and it was 4-1 when Ghiglia was on hand to score from close range.

Another free-kick from Worsley made it 5-1 and further goals were added, from a corner by Ghiglia and then Steer, who netted after a fine cross from Wills and Ammies went into the break with a 7-1 lead.

The one-way flow of the game continued in the second half as Steer knocked home the 8th, neat work from Langdon set up Steer for her hat-trick and the side's 9th and then Griffiths and Rawlings combined to set up Wills to make it 10-1.

After a short rally, in which Brooks, Volpini, Hillman, Griffiths and Ashcroft, were equal to any attacks, an 11th goal duly arrived with the move of the match that involved five players before Rawlings rifled in her hat-trick effort.

Steer and Burdick then added further goals and the final say came from Lauren Hillman who was clearly surprised, and delighted, when she found the back of the Brixham net!

Rawlings was quite rightly named Player of the Match after the game.
