Exmouth Amateurs were comfortable 4-0 winners when they entertained Westexe Rovers in a Fresha league Division One clash.
It was sweet revenge for the Warrenview men who had been beaten in Mid Devon when the sides met earlier in the campaign.
Ammies were quickly into their stride and Matt Cousins was denied an early opener by a superb save from the Westexe gloves man.
It was not until the 44th minute that Ammies finally got the goal their first half performance warranted with Darren Carr finding the back of the net.
During the break Ammies boss Jody Bolt championed his players to keep playing as they were saying that if they did just that they would surely get other goals.
During the break Bolt made a chance giving a first Ammies start to former Lympstone player Sam Elstub. Five minutes into the second half the lead was doubled when Lee Hill, a power-house in the midfield throughout, slid a perfect pass through to Carr who angled his drive inside the post.
Just past the hour mark Si Withers made it four goals in three games with another clinical finish to put the hosts three goals to the good.
Bolt then made more changes with Scott Bellamy and Josh Kirby taking over from James Leaper and Matt Cousins, the latter would surely have scored during his time on the pitch had he enjoyed a little better luck!
The final goal arrived with 80 minutes on the clock when Kirby marked his return to action with a fine finish.
Darren Carr landed the Ammies Man of the Match award and he and his team mates are back in action this Saturday with a trip to Exwick Villa. Ammies head for Exeter looking to continue their current unbeaten run that stretches now back to October.
At Warrenview the Ammies Reserves host Axminster Town (2.15pm).
