Exiles emerged 7-2 winners in their Sunday League Division Three basement battle with Green Gables.
Exiles were slow to start and found themselves two down inside ten minutes.
The early double blow seemed to shake the Exiles from their slumbers and they were soon back in the contest. Gareth Davies slotted a penalty awarded after Scotty Hall had been upended in the area.
Minutes later parity was restored when the fleet-footed Jordi Thompson cut inside and struck a shot that took a deflection before nestling in the bottom corner of the Gables net.
Exiles boss Les Coates had strong words for his under-par side at the break and urged his charges to produce something more high tempo in the second half.
They responded very well as goals from Jack Cracknell, Mark Beasley and Scott Hall took them into a 5-2 lead.
Gables were reduced to ten men with their goal keeper dismissed after speaking out and shortly after his replacement was picking the ball out of the net, after a delightful pass from
Gareth Davies found Thompson and he struck a wonderful lobbed shot from 45-yards that was touched home at the far post by Spud Coates.
In the final word the seventh goal was scored by Jock Clark to seal an emphatic win. Dan Martin, making his debut at right back, was named the Exiles Man of the Match.
