ROYAL Marines AFC have seen a number of players depart Endurance Park in the past month.
Once the appointment was confirmed of former Militarymen chief Richard Pears as assistant manager to Peter Buckingham at Cullompton rangers it became clear that a number of players would join Pears at a club he was with before leaving the Mid Devon outfit for a spell as boss at Exmouth Town.
When the South West Peninsula League released details of the first of the summer transfers last weekend no fewer than five former Royal marines AFC players were on the move.
Ben Clay, Chris Duchenski, Phil Everett and George Robinson have all transferred directly from the Endurance Park outfit to Cullompton Rangers whilst former keeper Chris Garnsworthy has made the switch from Bickleigh to rejoin Pears.
