East Budleigh Reserves continue to produce the goods this season and their latest outing saw them share the spoils with unbeaten Awliscombe in an East Devon derby.

The East Budleigh Reserves were involved in a Division Six Match of the Day as they took on hosts, and fellow top four side, Awliscombe United.

Louis Jeans was the star of the show for Budleigh with a well-taken goal to cap his performance in what was an even game.

Jamie Drummond and Steve Jones were drafted in and it was the latter who was denied by a fine save when one-on-one.

Budleigh stopper Adam Coles was also at his best at the other end, amazingly finger-tipping a 35 yard pile driver on to the bar and to safety to leave the honours even.

One highlight from the game fro Jays followers was the return to action of Steve Davey who came on as a second half substitute.

This Saturday the Jays second string look to continue their Devon Intermediate Cup run when they travel to Mid Devon to face Tiverton based side Amory Park Rangers (2pm).
