Clyst Valley 0, East Budleigh 2 (after extra-time)

East Budleigh moved into the semi-final of the Morrison Bell Cup with a fine victory at Premier side Clyst Valley and to set up a tie against neighbours Budleigh Salterton, writes Mark Auton

Budleigh played very well overall and should have won the game in normal time; the woodwork denying them no fewer than six times!

Keeper Rob Dance was rarely troubled, but Budleigh had to wait until the second period of extra-time when Jack Howarth and Si Tuley both struck to deservedly send Budleigh through.

For Budleigh Chris Eveleigh did well from the bench whilst Hugo Demetre took the Man of the Match award for his efforts in both halves of the field. Budleigh are next in action on Saturday week (April 20) when they go to Culm United for a Fresha League Division One game.
