East Budleigh Reserves well beaten

East Budleigh Reserves crashed to a disappointing 5-0 defeat when they entertained Railway Club, writes Mark Auton.
In many ways the side were the masters of their own downfall as they made a number of second half individual errors.
Budleigh held their own in the first half hour, Jack Morgan making a timely clearance, but were undone at the far post as the visitors took the lead.
Two minutes into the second half it was 2-0, but Budleigh had a good chance to pull one back when the tireless running of Nick Bolt was almost rewarded when he cut the ball back for Ben Wilks whose saw his effort blocked by the away stopper.
A third goal saw Budleigh heads drop; Keiran Turrell joined the action and hooked a shot just wide, but the victory was confirmed with two further strikes.
This Saturday Budleigh play the same side in the return fixture with a great opportunity to put things right.
