East Budleigh Reserves were 6-1 winners when they made the short trip to Sidmouth Town fourth team for a Macron League Division Seven game, writes Mark Auton.

Against a very young home side, Budleigh started strongly with good aggression and were rewarded with a 4-0 interval lead.

Man of the Match Kai Guise struck twice, whilst Joe Walker and Gav Russell also opened their accounts for the season.

Sidmouth were better in the second period and pulled a goal back from a defensive error.

Mark Bowles and Ollie Clark scored the fifth and sixth for a Budleigh side who will look to keep up the momentum this Saturday (September 8), when they visit Culm, whom they beat on the opening day.
