East Budleigh produced another fine team display to win their Macron League Division Three game at Tedburn St Mary 5-3, writes Mark Auton.

Steve Hitchcock, Liam Matthew, Jacob Rice, Hugo Demetre and Dan Atkinson were all on target for a Budleigh side that move to the top of the league as a result of this latest success.

The Man of the Match award for Budleigh went to Rice, who just shaded the award from keeper Mark Bown, who, despite conceding three, also made some great saves to preserve the lead.

This Saturday (October 13) Budleigh make the short journey to local rivals Budleigh Salterton looking for more of the same. Kick-off at Greenway Lane is 3pm.
