EXMOUTH duo Kyle Bassett (left) and Aaron Dawson, began life this week as apprentice footballers with Exeter City.The former Exmouth Community college youngsters joined the other first year trainees at the club's Cat & Fiddle training ground in Clyst St Mary on Monday and then, on Tuesday evening, both boys, and their families, were present at the 'signing ceremony' when they put pen to paper on two year apprenticeship contracts with the Grecians.Julie Strong, mother of Aaron Dawson, said: "The boys are both very excited and determined to make the most of their opportunity. On Monday they spent much of the day getting used to their new surroundings and then on Tuesday the hard work really began. Attending the signing on ceremony at St James Park was something very special for both sets of families.
