Brixington Blues 5, Cullompton Rangers 9

It rained goals at a sun-kissed Withycombe pitch when Brixington Blues Under-14s took on Cullompton Rangers in a Division One game.

The Mid Devon side had the considerable advantage of the wind in the first half and scored six unanswered goals.

It was a different story after the break with the Blues having the elements in their favour and they ‘won’ the second period 5-3!

Max Howard, Cameron Brown, Harry Gibbings, Jason Mann and Tom O’Shea scored for Blues.

The outstanding contribution for Blues throughout the contest came from midfielder Aaron Cheung.
