Calland treble guides Ammies through

Zac Calland cracked a fifteen minute hat-trick to help send Ammies under-9s into the second round of the KO Cup.
EXMOUTH Amateurs under-9s powered to an Exeter Youth League KO Cup win at Broadclyst.
Ammies went into the game buoyed by the fact that they had beaten the same opposition a fortnight before in a League meeting.
The star of the game was very even with chances at both ends but it was Ammies who struck first.
Callum Neal found Zac Calland who lobbed the Broadclyst keeper and then the same player scored again after good approach play from Danny Lewis and Neal.
Neal and Calland then played a superb one-two resulting in the latter notching his third to seal a fifteen minute hat-trick and send Ammies into the break 3-0 up.
Broadclyst got one back from an early second half penalty - this despite a great effort by Ammies glovesman Ciaran Moyle.
A swift second for Broadclyst set up a grand-stand finish but more fine inter-play between Neal and Calland ended with a Calland shot being parried into the path of Neal who tucked the ball away to seal a richly deserved 4-2 win.
