Budleigh Salterton Under-16s were denied the chance of bagging a hat-trick of November wins when their Exeter and District Youth League meeting with Alphington was called off owing to a waterlogged surface at Greenway Lane, writes SpursTom.

November has been a good month for the young Robins! It started with them defeating Sidmouth Town Warriors 7-0 with a hat-trick from Ryan Daffin, two from Will White and single goals from Liam O’Brien and Joe Graham.

They followed that with an even more emphatic success, an 8-0 win over Axminster Town.

Budleigh are due to face Axminster Town again this coming Saturday (December 1), with the teams contesting a place in the next round of the Under-16s League Cup. The game, at Greenway Lane, has a 10.30am kick-off.
