Budleigh Salterton have got precious little travelling to do over the course of their next eight South West Peninsula League outings.

Budleigh Salterton have got precious little travelling to do over the course of their next eight South West Peninsula League outings.

It’s very much a case of Festive season home comforts for the side.

That’s because the Robins play six of their next eight at their Greenway Lane home and the two away games in that eight match sequence are in East Devon.

They go to Axminster Town on Saturday, December 22 and four days later they make the short trip to Southern Road, Exmouth for the Boxing Day derby match.

The home games begin with next Saturday’s visit of Alphington and seven days later Appledore provide the opposition.

On the first Saturday of 2103 the Robins host Crediton United and a week later Axminster Town are at Greenway Lane.

Teignmouth Town visit Budleigh on Saturday, February 2 and it is not until February 16 that Danny Williams’ men make an away trip of any meaningful distance when they travel to Totnes and Dartington.

Before the run of home game start the Robins have a Graddon Vending Devon Premier Cup tie to negotiate this coming Saturday.

Once again they are at home with fellow Eastern Division outfit Exeter Civil Service the Greenway Lane visitors for the 2pm kick-off.

At stake is a place in the last eight of the competition.
