Budleigh Salterton Under-14s make super start to new season

The youngest of the Budleigh teams, the Under-14s, have made a very positive start to their season winning all three games played so far, writes SpursTom.

Firstly in the league, goals from James Bridge, Matt Garnett, Adam Wilkinson and Sam Balbi secured a 4-2 triumph over Brixington Blues.

Another league victory came when James Bridge (5), Adam Wilkinson (4), Sam Balbi and Matt Garnett found the net as Feniton were beaten 11-3.

Last Saturday, in the Under-14 League Cup they were twice behind to Honiton before bagging a second round berth courtesy of a 7-3 extra-time success.

The players on target were Adam Wilkinson (5), Joe Rockey and Sam Balbi in a fine team performance.
