Budleigh Reserves urgently seek a new manager – could it be you?

On the eve of the fixture away at University fourths, Graham Tapp informed me that he was no longer the manager of Budleigh Salterton Reserves, but would take charge of this one last match, being played at Duckes Meadow, writes SpursTom.
Playing against the young athletic footballers from the University is difficult at the best of times, but this match was clearly lost before it started with the Robins, already low on moral, struggling from the first whistle.
Their cause was not helped by them going into the game without a recognised goal keeper, with young Ryan Pym having to pull on the gloves, though he did his best and has my full ‘respect’, he was beaten six times in the first half.
Indeed, there was precious little the youngster could do about any of the goals.
The home side had thought it was 10 at full-time, but referee Tim Smith confirmed it had indeed been 11 goals that the students scored.
