Budleigh forced a couple of early corner's but from then on it was the worst half of football seen from Budleigh all season. Two soft goals were conceded from a mixture of bad defending and keeping.

At half time, Peter White came on for Gareth Wicks. To the side's credit, for the rest of the game they pinned their hosts back.

Scott Thornhill scored a well-struck penalty after Craig Higham was brought down.

But as Budleigh pushed forward they were hit twice on the break. Simon Rose scored a fantastic volley which flew in off both posts from 20 yards out. With ten minutes left, Higham had a great chance but the keeper made a fine save from close range.
