Budleigh Salterton girls’ Under-12s warmed up for their forthcoming League Cup final by banking three league points in a narrow win at Tiverton-based side Moors Youth, writes SpursTom.

Goals from Millie Shaw and Esme Kilburn-Thompson put the Robinettes into a two-goal lead. The home side pulled one back late on, but the points were deservedly taken by the Budleigh girls.

Seven days before the Robinettes played away to undefeated league champions Twyford Spartans.

They managed to net twice through Tiegan Gibbins and Millie Shaw, but shipped four.

This is a much-improved team this season and the youngsters will travel to Dawlish Leisure Centre this Sunday (April 26) to take on Twyford Spartans in the League Cup final with kick-off in South Devon being at noon.
