Budleigh Salterton Football Club are due to hold their fourth training evening tonight (Thursday), writes SpursTom.
The Robins are now already back into twice a week pre-season mode with sessions each Tuesday and Thursday at their Greenway Lane headquarters.
All old and new players are welcome to the pre-season sessions.
The first of the pre-season games is a July 20 and more accurate information will be given when you attend training, please do come and stretch those tired muscles!
The club’s football management team once again are Danny Williams and Brett Wright who will be hoping to sustain a challenge for the South West Peninsular Division 1 (East) title. In the meantime new Robins Reserve boss Duane Greenslade has enlisted player Carl Wilson as his assistance, a person whom he believes will be an influential member both on and off the field as they strive to get the Reserves to a mid-table position, especially after just avoiding being relegated from the Fresha Devon and Exeter Premier Division at the end of last season.
The new football chairman is John Pannell, with Richard (Chard) Tapp retaining the post of football secretary.
They dearly want to strengthen the whole squad and would love to hear of player’s availability.
It would also be of some advantage to the club to have a qualified physiotherapist/first-aider to assist when required.
Please contact the club on 01395 443850 or Chard Tapp on 07811 179238 or 01395 269743.
