Brixington United continued with their wining start to this season’s campaign with a 5-1 win against Dawlish United.

Tom Real got them off to flying start scoring after four minutes after a lovely through ball played by Jack Ottaway. The rest of first half was nip and tuck with both teams playing some great football before Dawlish equalised with nearly the last kick of the half.

Straight after the break Brixington regained their lead when a Jack Ottaway cross was turned into his own goal by a Dawlish defender. Liam O’Brien then got on the score sheet firing his shot past the advancing keeper. Brixington by now were in full flow and Ryan Daffin then helped himself to a goal smashing his shot into the roof of the net. George Pritchard rounded off the scoring tapping in after the Dawlish keeper parried a shot into his path. Special mention must go to Joe Tozer, Freddie Cotton and Ryan Fell who were outstanding in defence.

The midfield trio of Joe Graham, Rory Craib and Joseph Vincent also played superbly, breaking up the play and starting wave after wave of counter attacks.
