Brixington Blues Under-14s win eleven goal thriller

Brixington Blues Under-14s won a sensational contest of eleven goals at Acland Park, Feniton, where they beat the home side 6-5.

Every time these two teams have met through the various age groups in youth football they have delivered thrillers and this one was most certainly of that ilk!

Hayden Saxton scored a first half treble that saw Blues into the half-time break all square at 3-3.

Guy Laverock had been the stand-in Blues goalkeeper in the first half, but returned to his regular front line slot for the second half and he promptly scored a hat-trick to see Blues to a thrilling victory. Christian Whales (3), Chris Badcott and James Woodward netted for Feniton.
