Broadclyst 7, Brixington Blues 1

Brixington Blues Under-11s made the short journey to Broadclyst writes Alan Diprose.

In a game that can be best described as a ‘bad day at the office’, Blues were always second best!

The highlight of the first half was a superb individual goal from new signing Finnley Doyle-Stott.

He showed some clever footwork on the bye-line to side step his marker and then bend the ball around the keeper.

The second half saw an audacious long range effort from Will White that Broadclyst ‘keeper Josh Bradley acrobatically kept out via the woodwork.

Both Luke Buck and Will Cooper performed heroics to keep the score down.

With two free Saturday’s there is plenty of time to train before the long away trip to Copplestone.
