Brixington Blues Under-10s power to Cully Diamonds win

Brixington Blues Under-10s were 4-1 winners when they entertained Cullompton Diamonds.

Blues started with a free flowing passing game that left their hosts reeling and an early shot from Alex Bowyer was brilliantly saved by the Cully goalkeeper. In the Blues’ defence Charlie Precious and Jake Haggerty looked solid and equal to the best the visitors could offer.

Zac Brown’s first touch was to fire Blues into the lead but, despite great work from Carrick Howard and Bowyer in midfield that’s how it stayed until the break.

Skipper Lewis Fulls got the second minutes into the second period only to see Diamonds pull one back almost immediately. Jake Howarth extended the lead once more with a fine volley before Brown scored his second to complete the scoring.
