Brixington Blues share spoils with Millwey Rise

Brixington Blues Under-10s shared two goals with Millwey Rise.

Blues, who had been knocked out of the League cup by Milwey Rise, were keen to redress the balance and made a high tempo start.

They were thwarted a number of times by some excellent goal keeping and, just before half-time, they fell behind to a clinical finish.

After the break Blues knocked the ball around with real confidence, but they suffered a blow with the loss of Lewis Fulls, injured by a heavy challenge. The Wright and Haggerty combination continued to orchestrate things and it was no more than Blues deserved when skipper Alex Bowyer scored with one minute left!
