Brixington Blues Under-10s were edged out by the odd goal in three by Cullompton Tigers.

An incident packed first half saw the Tigers ‘take the lead’ from the penalty spot, much to the surprise of the visiting Blues as the ball had rebounded off the frame of the goal before being tucked into the back of the net and, after discussion, was correctly ruled out!

The second half was a scrappy affair, decisions at times confusing both sets of players and supporters, the Blues fell behind to an own goal and then suffered injury before finding some rhythm to their game and it was no more than they deserved when Jake Haggerty levelled with a fine goal. The game was won by the narrowest of margins by the visitors with a late goal.
