EXMOUTH Beach Boys were involved in an eight goal thriller when they met Clyst Rovers in their latest game in the Exeter Sunday League. Ian Boyd was the star of the show with a hat-trick whilst other goals came from Sean Fehay and Jon Veal

EXMOUTH Beach Boys were involved in an eight goal thriller when they met Clyst Rovers in their latest game in the Exeter Sunday League.Ian Boyd was the star of the show with a hat-trick whilst other goals came from Sean Fehay and Jon Veal and that proved enough to edge out a plucky Rovers who scored three of their own.With Rovers starting the game with just nine men, Beach Boys took full advantage and raced into a two goal lead but Rovers were level by the break.Just after the restart Beach Boys edged ahead at 3-2 when Rovers added a tenth player to their ranks. A fourth goal was scored before the plucky opponents netted their third and it was not until injury time that Beach Boys made the game safe with their fifth, and final, goal.
