Bowden stars as birthday boy Man of the Match in Lympstone defeat at Topsham

Lympstone slipped to a third defeat of the Fresha League Division Two season.

The Lympets pre-match planning was hampered by unavailability of a number of players through suspension, injuries and work commitments,

The home side started well and bagged an early brace.

The Lympets battled back and halved the deficit before half-time with a Mark Dunne goal.

After the break the contest continued in similar fashion with few chances at either end and just one more goal was scored, netted by the home side to secure all three points.

The Lympstone Man of the Match was birthday boy Danny Bowden, skipper for the day, acclaimed for his non-stop effort from start to finish.
