Boere named top man at Royal Marines AFC

THE Royal Marines AFC staged their presentation evening to celebrate what has been an outstanding season for the Militarymen.

THE Royal Marines AFC staged their presentation evening to celebrate what has been an outstanding season for the Militarymen.

Dan Boere was named the Managers' Player of the Year and he also picked up the honour for receiving the most Man of the Match awards.

Shea Saunders was acclaimed as the Players' Player of the Year, whilst the award for the highestnumber of appearances went to Ben Clay.

In the Royal Marines AFC Reserve side the Manager's Player of the Year top honour went to Kev Duckers with Kenny Churchill awarded the Players' Player of the Year.

John Veale completed the season as the side's player who appeared the most times and the best goal of the season award was picked up Shea Saunders for his fabulous effort in the game with Colyton.

Outgoing boss, Jason Margrett, was named Manager of the Year, whilst very special mention, on a fabulous evening, was made of Ian Mulholland's contribution, he was acclaimed as Secretary of the Year, Linesman of the Year - oh yes, and Barman of the Year for all his consistent efforts on behalf of all things Royal Marines AFC.
