United came out comfortably on top in this first versus second Sunday league game.
The home side made the brighter start and went ahead in the fifth minute by which time they had already forced bank keeper Graham Lewis into a number of saves.
Bank’s response was excellent and they levelled through winger Phil Sanders with Jamie Drummond providing the assist. Bank then took the lead with a superb strike from 30-yards from Drummond.
The third Bank goal owed much to industry and endeavour of striker Adam Pring who did all the spade work prior to Sanders netting his second of the game.
Adam Gendall then shook off his marker before rifling the ball home after Warren
Vaughan had ghosted past his marker before crossing to the far post.
After the break new signing Stuart Tucker was introduced to the action and he immediately linked up impressively with strike partner Pring.
skinned his man and found Gendall at the back post. The home side reduced the arrears with a goal from a corner, but Bank had the last word and, shortly after Vaughan had a wonderful shot beaten out by the home glovesman, Tuckett netted the games seventh and final goal.
Adam Gendall was named Man of the Match for Bank who are back in action this Sunday at Tiverton in a cup tie.
