Bank United 5, Black Horse 2
Bank’s manager opted for a more attacking formation for this second evening game in a couple of days for his side
The ploy paid dividends as Bank dominated from the first whistle. However, it took 20 minutes for the first goal to arrive with a superb 20-yard Drummond strike breaking then deadlock.
Five minutes before the break the lead was doubled thanks to a left foot strike from Elliot. There was still time for the visitors to net their first sending bank into the break with a 2-1 lead.
A half-time switch saw Chris Manning introduced for Bank and the hosts struck a third five minutes after the re-start with Pring scoring after a good cross from Sanders.
Pring repeated the action five minutes later t make it 4-1.
Black Horse hit back to reduce the deficit to two goals, but bank were not finished and Manning was in the right place at the right time to turn home a Peligry corner to complete the scoring.
The Bank Man of the Match award went to midfielder Jamie Drummond.
