Ammies Under-11s were good value for another clean sheet victory that edges them ever nearer the title.

The earlier season meeting between the teams in Exeter produced a thrilling 5-5 draw, so goals were expected in this encounter.

However, Ammies bossed proceedings from first whistle to last and restricted the Exeter-based opposition to very few opportunities to threaten Ben Dawson in the Ammies goal.

The opening goal arrived in the 15th minute when Sam Wheeler eased his way past two defenders before firing home.

After the break it was a clinical finish from Harry Phillips that sealed the victory.

The Ammies Man of the Match award went to Cameron Bennett for his outstanding contribution in what was a debut central midfield shift.
