Exmouth Amateurs Reserves’ new boss Adam Reid missed his side’s 2-0 defeat Clyst Valley Reserves.

With the boss ill the team was forced into a re-shuffle and, with a number of notable absentee’s Ammies were always up against it.

They did have Craig Leman making his debut following his switch from Woodbury whilst another making a debut was goalkeeper Alex Trevena coming up against the side he left a fortnight before!

Ash Ghanami was unfortunate not to put Ammies in front early on before the home side took a 25th minute lead with what proved to be the only goal of the first half.

Ten minutes into the second half the home lead was doubled. Ryan Tullett and Danny Gould were introduced at the expense of Ghanami and Andy Carder. However, despite plenty of effort, Ammies could not find a way back into the contest.

Nathan Hodge was once again singled out for his contributions as was Craig Leaman and the duo shared the Man of the Match award.

On Saturday Ammies travel to Feniton to meet Axminster Town Reserves.
