After the opening frame was lost to David Binmore (74-51) of the Police Social Club B, Andy Daniels 72-33, Kevin Proctor 72-36 and Dave Lance 59-46 crossed the winning line. Phil Rowsell 88-57 took the final frame to keep both teams on 10 points at the foot of the table.

Police C remain ahead of the rest despite losing at home to 4th, place East Budleigh A. John Parrott 52-38 and Ray Sturman 61-50 won frames two and five, but, Graham Ward 79-65, Mark Auton 68-31 and Derek Quick 59-20 had the match won after four frames.

Police A posted their biggest win to date, as after Carl Rowsell compiled a break of 33, he lost the opening frame to David Freer 70-35 of East Budleigh B. Then, George Webster 69-50, Rob Pow 57-41, Mike Delahaye 66-46 and a black-ball steal by Pete Abrahams 66-62 all rallied to lift the defending champions up to second.
