The boys of Exmouth United Under 12s produced a fine performance to win 3-0 at a strong Heavitree Pumas.

In a closely-fought first half, Exmouth took a one goal lead after a corner from Johnie Bowley on the left that dropped into the six-yard box and deftly turned in with a flick of the boot by Jude Extence at the front post.

The lead was protected by a fine Max Fagan save, a brilliant clearance from Ollie French and a goal-saving Tommy Elms challenge.

This gave Exmouth renewed vigour and a free kick was sent long into the path of Jamie Billingham, who beat the Pumas defence by sheer speed and calmly slotted the ball home from six yards out.

The game was sealed with ten minutes to go when Tom Darville launched a clearance, Jude Extence nudged the ball forward and again Jamie Billingham fired into the back of the net.
