Exmouth Town Under-18s eased their way into the quarter-finals of the Devon County Cup, winning 4-0 away at Plymouth-based Elburton Villa.

The home side made a bright start, but, after weathering the early pressure, Town took a deserved 25th minute lead when a Beckham Pyatt free-kick was headed home by Dan Cullen.

Just 10 minutes later, Dan Cullen latched onto a pin-point 40-yard pass to release Adam Wilkinson, who, in turn, provided the assist for Tom Bray to score the second and send Town into the half-time break with a two goal lead.

In the second half, the play became more competitive and the challenges were certainly of the physical kind!

However, with the wind at their backs, Town seized control once again and, after some great approach play out wide from Tom Bray, Tom Prout was on hand to make it 3-0 and, with 10 minutes remaining, Josh Gresham weaved past a couple of defenders before netting to complete the scoring.
