The Toolstation Western League fixtures are being released this week and Exmouth Town manager Kevin Hill is already contemplating the inevitable struggles with travel arrangements.
Hill can call on the use of a team coach for certain games and the restructuring of the leagues should slightly reduce the amount time on the road for this campaign.
“The fixtures coming out allows us to start planning properly,” he said. “The club has said we can have a number of team coaches this season, so we look to see when they will be needed.
“We can get those coaches booked in because my biggest challenge is often arranging travel for away games. You end up asking the same lads to drive each time and we are occasionally down to the bare bones when it comes to getting players to games.”
Town will discover their opponents in the FA Cup and FA Vase Preliminary Rounds on July 9.
