Exmouth Town Under-9s entered the Christmas break with a fabulous weekend of football.
It started with a double-header against the Westhill Under-9s and the Exmouth youngsters managed to dominate for large parts after a slow start.
Town then played a year up, against the Westhill Under-10s, and again performed superbly to earn a fine draw against a powerful young team.
On the Sunday, a proud coaching duo of Mark Upcott and Luke Norton took the Under-9s for a trio of games against Honiton, Bradninch and Alphington.
Once again, the Town boys excelled in the early fixtures and put in impressive displays all over the pitch.
It was a step up again when they took on a talented Alphington but the hard work never faltered, and all under the watchful guise of Nick James, manager of the youth set-up at Southern Road.
A great way to end 2020.
