Jade Offord is a dedicate member of Exmouth Running Belles and she recently completed three marathons in two months as part of a challenge she has set herself.

Now she has also completed that Ultra when she completed the Exmoor Trail Running Challenge; a 49km run incorporating 5,500ft of elevation climb.

The event is dubbed ‘one of our toughest events’ by event organisers - The Trail Events Company.

The run started in The Doone Valley and took runners through the boggy open moorland of Exmoor to the town of Lynton and along the coast to Porlock before returning to the start line.

Jade was very happy to reach the finish line in a time of seven hours and nine minutes.

This challenge is part of Jade’s ongoing marathon training as she hopes to complete the six Abbott World Marathon Majors by 2019. Having completed the London Marathon in 2015 and the New York Marathon in 2017, Jade recently completed her third and fourth World Marathon Majors; running September’s Berlin Marathon in a time of three hours and 55 minutes and then completing October’s Chicago Marathon in a time of four hours.

Jade will complete her next two marathon challenges next year, after running the Tokyo Marathon in March and the Boston Marathon in April 2019.
