Exmouth Town Reserves returned to action for the first time since the last lockdown and recorded an impressive 6-2 victory over Exmouth Spartans.
Despite having many players away or with injuries, it gave Town the perfect opportunity to have a look at new signings Ryan Harding and Harry Gibbins, as well as Brad Worthington and Billy Worthington from the Under-18s, with all four players impressing the management. A close first half saw a corner deflected into Spartans own goal but the scores were level at 1-1 at the break.
In the second half, Town stepped it up a gear and showed their quality and terrific fitness levels for this stage of pre-season.
Tom Bray scored twice and there were goals from Tom Preece and Finley Slack in a dominant display.
