Riding as one of 38 competitors at Crediton the 15-year-old finished an excellent fourth.

Next up he raced at the tricky Little Hempston track near Totnes where, in wet conditions he finished third.

Most recently he was in action last weekend at Whiteway Barton, Kingsteignton where his times were so fast that he was upgraded to the adult elite class!

Once again the youngster showed real quality as he finished in the top ten twice in three heats to take a creditable 14th overall on the day.

The youngster continues to be sponsored by the Country House Inn and this season that sponsorship has been tweaked to leave him actually sponsored by the Country House Inn carvery with an extra award being the offer of a free carvery for every top five finish he gets at a race day this season!

This year’s championship is run over 16 rounds across the south west, finishing in Exeter in November.
