Exmouth continue their march towards A Division glory with Saturday’s trip to Torquay.
The Maer men travel to South Devon leading the A Division but Saturday’s opposition, narrowly beaten in the Devon Premier Cup last Sunday at top flight side Bradninch, did end a run of three straight defeats with last Saturday’s victory over South Devon.
Exmouth go into the Torquay game in great form, unbeaten to date this season and looking to complete the first half of their 2010 Francis Clark programme with a healthy lead at the top of the table - something they will achieve with a good win on Saturday.
One interesting statistic on Torquay is that they have yet, this season, to have anything other than a direct result in a game they have played. No draws for them, they have won four and drawn three with their other game, the opener in May, hit by the rain.
