Hugh Marsden, Dawn Teed and Anthony Hatchard were the three who ventured Chagford.
It has been a few years this intrepid trio ventured out to this classic fell race which may only be 3.45 miles, but as the name suggests contains two substantial ascents (1,076 feet of climb up Meldon and Nattadon Hills) separated by a bog which this year was worse than any you will see on the Grizzly!
All three landed a prize with Hatchard finishing second in 27:59, a time that would have seen him win the even just two years before!
Marsden was second Vet 50 in 32:10 and Dawn Teed was third Vet 50 female, in a time of 45:17.
