Exmouth Harrier Dave Stone made his regular trip to the Duchy last Sunday for the Cornish Marathon, writes Dave Eveleigh.

Stone went one better than last year by finishing in the bronze medal position in a time of 2:50:28.

He was first Man Aged 40-44.

Stone is quite the Marathon specialist as he continues to chalk up times inside three hours for the distance!

This year he was accompanied by another Exmouth Harrier, Dave Wright, who recorded 3:35:15 in 67th place.

Around 300 athletes took part in the event.
