Exmouth Harriers run new PBs at Exeter City Runs event

The first of a new season of City Runs Exeter 5k Series saw a number of Exmouth Harriers runners taking part, writes Dave Eveleigh.

Six achieved new personal best times and three recorded top three finishes in their respective categories.

The first Harrier home was Chris Dupain, 25th in a time of 18:40.

In 37th place, and third man age 45-49, was Richard Bishop in a time of 19:28.

Not far behind Richard, finishing second woman age 35-39, was Hannah Bown who recorded a new personal best in 19:42.

Ben White was 52nd in a new personal best of 20:17 whilst, chasing home in 56th place, and also with a new personal best, was Scott Jordan who crossed the finish line in 20:44.

Finally, in 78th position, but second man age 60-64, was Nigel Dupain in a time of 23:51.
