Exmouth Harriers have been clocking up the training miles over the past few weeks in preparation for Conquer24 at Powderham over the weekend June 5 & 6.
It’s a new 24-hour race taking place across the castle grounds, the five-mile course will take the runners around the castle’s stunning trails and through the castle itself.
Some will run solo and do one lap, others will complete two laps, whilst the majority will be racing in teams completing as many laps as possible over a 24-hour period from midday on Saturday to midday on Sunday.
One Harrier did race over the Bank Holiday weekend; Oliver White travelled to London to compete in the Kempton Park Renaissance Run 10k on Sunday, May 30.
The course was around the service roads and paths alongside the racecourse, Oliver galloped around the course to finish in 14th place out of 215 finishers in 36 minutes and 23 seconds.
