Hannah Bown was not only representing England Masters in the York Marathon after being selected to compete in their Women’s 40-44 team but also competing in the 2021 British Masters Marathon championships in the same race.  

Hannah finished in a superb time of 3.16.01, which placed her in 283rd position overall, 33rd Female to finish and 7th in the W40-49 age category. In the BMAF championship race, she was 26th overall and 6th Female.  

Martin Jon Collins ran a great race and finished in 5.13.10 in the overall race. 

Tom Merson was the first Harrier in Portsmouth’s Great South Run, finishing in 22nd place, 3rd in the M35-39 age category in 51.30, with Harriers ‘ debutant Piers Benton coming in next in 237th place in 64.27.  

Des White finished in 284th place and was 1st in the M65-69 age category in 65.42. Brian Sansom was 453rd and 15th in the M55-59 age category in 68.35.
